Name: Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohammad Syuhaimi Ab-Rahman
Affiliation: Faculty of Engineering & Built Environment, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia
Title: Green Communication & Devices Towards a Future 0f WDM-POF Network with User and Environmentally Friendly
Mohammad Syuhaimi Ab-Rahman began his career at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), in mid-2007 as a lecturer and appointed as a senior lecturer in early 2008. In January 2010, he was appointed as Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Systems. His specialization is in the field of electronic engineering specifically in optical communication system. He has been involved in many impact researches, academic writing, teaching, supervision, leadership positions, registered prototype and innovation, policy development and community services. He was promoted to full Professor at the age of 33 years old; which is very young and rare in Malaysia. This has demonstrated his outstanding personality and contribution to the field of science and technology. He was Deputy Dean Academic in Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment before been promoted to Director of Alumni Relation Center, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He is also professional engineer registered under Board of Egineering Malaysia. He has also been selected as on of the Malaysia’s Top Research Scientists 2021. To date, he has produced more than 13 PhD graduates, 16 Master of Science students, 301 journal articles, 199 proceeding, 30 books, 12 chapter in book. 24 awards/medals for science and technology exhibitions, 6 granted research patents, lead more than 10 impact research with cumulative MYR 12 million, head more than 5 impact community, held more than 10 administration positions, and involved in more than 5 important committees (e.g., Program Accreditation Evaluation Panel for Washington Accord EAC & ETAC, Malaysia Academic of Science). He was giving the keynote speech in several reputable conferences such as 2020 5th International Seminar on Computer Technology, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (ISCME 2020), 2019 4th International Conference on Information Science, Computer Technology and Transportation (ISCTT 2019), 2020 World Conference of Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (2020 WCASET) and many more. During his tenure at UKM, he was appointed as the appraiser grants Industrial Grant Scheme (IGS) and was involved in giving advice to the Ministry of Health in the assessment of the use of Long-Range Acoustic Device (LRAD) before they are brought into Malaysia. He is also active in giving motivational talks to university students as well as speakers for Malaysia Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) to guide the new lecturers/researchers in conducting research.

Name: Dr. Amin Suharjono
Affiliation: Electrical Engineering Department, Politeknik Negeri Semarang
Title: Internet of Things (IoT) based Smart Track Sterilization System for High-Speed Railway Infrastructure
Dr. Amin Suharjono is a senior researcher in Wireless Communications and IoT Laboratory in Politeknik Negeri Semarang. He has been a faculty member since 1999. He was a former Head of the department from 2015-2019. Currently, he is appointed to be Head of the Graduate Program in Telecommunication Engineering. His area of expertise comprises Wireless Sensor Networks, Internet of Things Platform, and Telecommunication Systems. Dr. Suharjono received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Diponegoro University, M.S. in Telecommunication Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology, and Ph.D. in Telecommunication engineering from Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology. He has received many research grants from the Indonesian Government for the development of IoT platforms and their applications. He is currently chief of a 3-year (2021-2024) National Research Priority on “Development of Disturbance Sterilization and Mitigation of High-Speed Railway Infrastructure”, funded by the National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia.

Name: Prof. Quan Nguyen
Affiliation: Faculty of Construction Economics and Management and Institute of Investment and Construction Management, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, Vietnam
Title: Smart Contract to Manage Construction Permits for Individual Houses: A Conceptual Framework for Vietnam
Dr Quan Nguyen obtained his PhD in the University of Leeds, United Kingdom in 2009. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Project Management and Law, Faculty of Construction Economics and Management, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, Vietnam. He is also the Director of Director of the Institute of Investment and Construction Management in the University and also holds the position of provisional chairman of BIM Academic Forum in Vietnam (BAF Vietnam). His areas of expertise include construction management, focusing on construction digitalisation and sustainable construction, not only concerning project delivery stages but also the whole project life cycle. Dr Quan has published over 60 journal papers and a few conference papers. He has led and co-led a number of research projects sponsored by both local and international agencies, including the Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam, British Council and Royal Academy of Engineering, United Kingdom.

Name: Prof. Changsu Shim
Affiliation: School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Urban Design and Studies, Chung-Ang University
Title: Smart Construction on DfMA for Prefabricated Bridges
Dr. Changsu Shim is a Professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Urban Design and Studies at Chung-Ang University, Seoul, Korea. He has been appointed to be a President of Korean Institute of BIM (KIBIM). His area of expertise comprises BIM-based for bridge design, construction and maintenance, composite structures, digital twin technology, prefabricated bridge construction, and 3D concrete printed structures. Dr. Shim received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Seoul National University. He has published more than 90 journal papers, 15 books, and numerous conference papers. He currently is a chief of 6-year (2020-2025) large research project on “Development of smart construction technology”, funded by Korean government
