First of all, I am happy to announce that Chung-Ang University will host the ITC2023 here in Seoul. After three years of silence, this conference will demonstrate our aspiration to exchange and share knowledge-on-the-field. As a chairman of hosting institution, I cordially welcome professors, scholars, and graduate students from participating institutions.
I appreciate sincere encouragements and suggestions from the faculty members and staffs of UKM and UNNES without which the preparation of ITC2023 was almost impossible. This year, we expect more countries including Vietnam and China will join this conference.
The theme of the ITC2023 conference is “Integrative Technology Stemmed from Interdisciplinary Convergence Research Leading to the Human-Friendly Earth.” To encourage convergence research, the theme will cover the following disciplines but not limited to: Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Urban Engineering (Urban Planning and Design) and Architectural Engineering. We also welcome research papers covering the latest technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Urban Air Mobilities related to the above topics.
Seoul, the place of the ITC2023, is considered a leading and rising global city. Surrounded by mountains and filled with modern landmark buildings, yet preserves its rich tradition, culture and heritage. It is the birthplace of a new culture that is conquering the world by respecting its tradition and striking the perfect balance between the old and new. As the city of Seoul does, our conference seeks to improve the connection between knowledge and application as well as know-hows and developments.
We would like to invite you to this wonderful opportunity, and hope to see you in Seoul, Korea in August. We will do our best to establish and facilitate exemplary post-COVID conference.
Thank you.
Emeritus Professor Joongseok Joseph Ryu, Ph.D
